Philadelphia City Paper celebrates 25 years of independent journalism.

Today, Philadelphia City Paper marks its 25th Anniversary with a special 164 page, stitched and trimmed edition, along with the launch of its new Web site, found at www.citypaper.net.

The special edition includes a sampling of articles published over the past 25 years. Writers include founding editor, Chris Hill, founding publisher, Bruce Schimmel, Howard Altman, Michael McGettigan, Ronnie Polaneczky, Frank Lewis, Daryl Gale, Jim Quinn, Margit Detweiler, Holly Moore, Jennifer Darr, and Scott Huler.

Philadelphia City Paper Film Critic Inducted into the National Society of Film Critics

Sam Adams, Movies Editor for the Philadelphia City Paper,is only the second film critic in the city of Philadelphia and state of Pennsylvania to have been elected into The National Society of Film Critics,a 55 member elected organization promoting the mutual interests of film criticism and filmmaking.
