The death of one of America's most beloved performers has spurred a ton of Elizabethan trips down memory lane. The Bryn Mawr Film Institute honors the late, great Liz Taylor with a discussion and dinner hosted by Inquirer film critic Carrie Rickey, followed by a screening of memorable clips from movies like Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Cleopatra and Butterfield 8. This intimate affair — with food and drinks from Verdad Restaurant and Tequila Bar in Bryn Mawr — looks back on the cinematic legacy left by a woman who believed in so much more than Hollywood: "I've been through it all, baby, I'm Mother Courage." Bring tissues.
