The leaves may be changing colors, but Philly's pushing for more green. Manayunk hosts its second annual EcoArts Festival, an all-out spectacle of earth-friendly living. Spanning two days, the fest will feature a host of vendors presenting everything from handmade soaps to innovative recycling projects. An eco car show will introduce some of the newest electric and environmentally sound vehicles — all of which are available for a test drive. And green educational talks will highlight local products and knowledge, including DJ sets powered by bicycles and a city-led presentation on how Philly will be the greenest city in America by 2015.
Sat., Sept. 24, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Sun., Sept. 25, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., free, Main Street Manayunk between Levering and Lock streets, manayunk.com.
