The magic of the holidays comes alive in “The Comcast Holiday Spectacular,” a free, must-see holiday tradition in Philadelphia, entertaining thousands of people of all ages and spreading holiday cheer. Celebrating its fifth year, The Comcast Holiday Spectacular is a unique holiday experience that captures the wonderful spirit of the season and has delighted hundreds of thousands of visitors. This year’s 15-minute show delights with classic holiday images and crisp wintertime sounds ― all shown on The Comcast Experience video wall, the world’s largest 4mm LED video display ― creating an ultimate viewing experience. The show captures the essence of the holidays with enchanting scenes from The Nutcracker, beautifully performed by the renowned Pennsylvania Ballet, a magical sleigh ride through the snow covered Pennsylvania countryside and into Center City Philadelphia, performances by some of Broadway’s best-known dancers, the majestic sounds of a 64-piece orchestra, and the harmony of the Commonwealth Youth Choir’s Keystone State Boychoir and Pennsylvania Girlchoir, and more. The Comcast Holiday Spectacular can be seen at the top of each hour at Comcast Center from Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day.
