Prohibition Cocktail Tour
City Food Tours, in partnership with the National Constitution Center, has launched their highly-anticipated "Prohibition Cocktail Tour." City Food Tours is an exclusive partner of the National Constitution Center and its world premiere exhibition, "American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition." The Prohibition Cocktail Tour promises to entertain guests with a snapshot of what it was like to be a "thirsty" Philadelphian trying to score a drink in Prohibition-era Philly. The tour includes three stops for generous samples of three Prohibition-era cocktails that are truly "the cats pajamas." This tour will not be serving up your granddad's highball or Manhattan! The cocktails were carefully selected for their authenticity, but more importantly, their rarity in today's bar scene. On this 2-hour adventure in the heart of Center City Philadelphia, your friendly and knowledgeable City Food Tours guide will introduce you to three Philly hotspots selected for their expert bartenders and extraordinary decor. At each restaurant, guests will enjoy delicious, under-the-radar, period cocktails like the Southside (Al Capone's cocktail of choice), the Sazerac, and the New Orleans Buck Fizz. Content and Schedule subject to change without notice. **In rare circumstances tours may be cancelled due to low attendance.
