It will come as news to exactly no one that beer at ballgames costs far too much money. But at least you can take solace in the fact that here in Philly, you're not paying nearly as much as most other people. The average cost per ounce at Citizens Bank Park is $0.37—a pretty respectable ninth-cheapest. - How's your day going? Generally jealousy-free? Here's something that will fix that right up: Kenji Lopez-Alt posted pics from his recent cross-country roadtrip on Serious Eats, and it is almost guaranteed to make you cry. Oh, barbecue in Memphis one day, kolaches in Dallas the next? NBD! What a jerk.
