Remember a few weeks back when we told you about Sancho Pistola's (19 W. Girard Ave.), the Girard Avenue newcomer from the Jose Pistola's crew? Well, they're opening their doors tonight at 7 p.m. for your Mexican-accented craft beer pleasure.
We're big fans of chef Adan Trinadad's revamped menu at Pistola's around these parts and the edible offerings at the new outpost are looking awesome with mole meatball steamed buns, a pork porterhouse and nachos with really expensive cheese. Oh and plenty of jokes.
Along with a predictably killer draft list including Russian River Blind Pig and Du Claw Sweet Baby Jesus, Sancho is offering up an intriguing cocktail menu complete with plenty of welcome warm weather flavors like the Frida's Brow with mescal, Cointreau, grapefruit, agave nectar and bitters.
Oh and if you're wondering who Sancho is, well, here you go.
