The Illadelph Xperiment

Hip-Hop/Dance

The Square Biz kids are at it again. Stacey, Yahmeen and ?uestlove rock the city with one of the biggest all-Philly DJ parties ever -- six rooms, 11 DJs. In the Afrorikan Vybe/Black Lily room, Rich Medina and Dennis Perez serve a hot plate of African and Latin house while Lady Alma dishes live vocals. Enter Tastytreats, a hip-hop'n room DJ'd by Mike Nyce and L-Boogie with plenty of Tastykakes. Play Connect Four and Naked Twister while ?uestlove and Train play classics and soul in the Candyland suite. The Remedy springs to life with Cosmo and Kenny Meez on the wheels of steel, nothing but true hip-hop and pulsating reggae. Soulful house and funky breaks take over with Joey Blanco and Brendan for The Joint. And, drum roll, DJ Jazzy Jeff and ?uestlove, always on the move, will wreck shop in the VIP room. Subject yourself to the Xperiment.

Sat., May 18, 9 p.m.-2 a.m., $15-$20, The Locust Club, 1616 Locust St., 215-727-3743, www.squarebiz.org.
