After a frisky season of fetish balls and kinky workshops, night crawlers can rev up for an evening of delicious debauchery at the ninth annual Diabolique Ball. This year's theme is Cirque: A Carnival of Exotic Wonders, and it has co-sponsor Passional Boutique's fang marks of approval all over it. There'll be a VIP Dominatrix Auction, Peek-A-Boo Revue dancers go-going for charity, dance/electro DJ Octopussy spinning you right round in circles and a fantasy Playground Room furnished with rope-and-wood contraptions, courtesy of the local crafters at Erotic Workbench. Diva Veronica Bound will teach patrons the art of "sploshing," i.e. rolling sexily through food, mud and other assorted grossities, and there'll be chaotic performances by fetish model Rubberella, bitch-trainer Mistress Marilyn and snake charmer Athena Lourdes. A menacing brigade of Clown Police will be strictly enforcing the fantasy dress code, so be sure to don your finest rubber, latex, PVC and underwear. (Pointy stilettos are recommended if you want to trample masochistic CarpetBoy.) All proceeds benefit the Woodhull Foundation for sexual freedom and empowerment and the Mazzoni Center and the Attic Youth Center for LGBT health and well-being.
