If you have a phobia about being trapped on the Spirit of Philadelphia with the Easter Bunny and folks dancing to Top 40 hits, then you'll want to sit this event out. But if you don't, sign up to sail and hit up the lunch buffet, which'll include choices like sole stuffed with Chesapeake Bay crabmeat and grilled vegetable lasagna. If a long-overdue grocery shopping trip is on your to-do, you might as well schedule it around this seasonal kickoff, which'll feature basketloads of free samples. Grab a piece of house-prepared salmon dill quiche to start out. Next, go for a slice of spiral-cut, tropical-fruit-glazed Wellshire Farms ham. Don "Joe Sixpack" Russell will hold court at the Trolley Car Diner & Deli for this look at local beer. Sample Victory Prima Pils, Stoudt's Winter Ale and Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot. Trolley Car chef Dwight Forrest will prepare entrées like shrimp and andouille sausage étouffée and gnocchi with grilled chicken. This tasting, featuring Victory Brewing Co.'s best brews, will appeal to even the most discriminating dairyphiles. Try Spain's super-rich Cana de Oveja with an earthy Saison, or see if Colston Bassett Shropshire, Scotland's fave blue, can stand up to the Storm King. Not interested in cheese?
