Legacy's Scott Braver is teaming with Di Bruno's to share and pair the Reading brewery's crafty crafts with queso galore. Taste Legacy's Midnight Wit with Cypress Grove's Humboldt Fog; the Belgian strong ale Euphoria with that same cheesery's gouda-style goat's milk Midnight Moon; and the Nor'easter with the Fourme d'Ambert, a rich cow's milk blue from France. Braver will also discuss the logic behind the pairings and the work that goes into creating their beers. Reservations required. Di Bruno Bros., 1730 Chestnut St., 215-665-9220, dibruno.com.

Merchants like Talluto's and Cappucio's have your red-sauce-on-pasta needs covered; after-dinner sweets and coffee come courtesy of Anthony's, John's Water Ice and Gleaner's. Ninth and Montrose streets, 215-545-4543, 9thstreetitalianmarketfestival,com/pastadinner.html.
