“After I’m gone,” she said, “I intend to come back and haunt the place myself.”

That's what A. Serrill Headley said once about her old Old City restaurant and music venue the Khyber Pass. Well, she died last week at the age of 68. While you drink a lager in her honor, keep an eye out for Serrill, a true Philly pioneer.
Here's the Inky obit.
Headley, by the way, was convinced the bar was was haunted. (Philadelphia Area Paranormal Society can't confirm that.)

I am the founder of the Philadelphia Area Paranormal Society and our investigation was 9/23/2007 BEFORE Serrill Headley passed away (1/17/2008) so it looks like we will need to do another investigation since Serrill Headley said “After I’m gone I intend to come back and haunted the place myself.” Well hopefully we can see if that is true in the near future!
I would certainly be interested in seeing is she could do what she stated.
