There's a lot of information here, so we'll try to make proper sense of it as we go: On Jan. 2, Brooklyn-based Telecult Powers played a multi-band gig at Frankford Avenue's counterculture book shop Germ Books.

... the kid that promoted the show is like "Hey, show is over, gotta clear out now, time to go, gotta get out of here…" so we loaded up the van and were ready to split. Hey, there is another act playing! We decided to stick around for a minute, but the promoter seemed very uncomfortable. He quickly explained that the owner of the book store insisted on the synth pop act, and he was willing to deal with it for the sake of the show, but last minute he sprung the fact that a notorious "Eurocentric" power electronics act was going to play. Curiosity got the better of me, decided to stick around for a minute, the guy started playing very limp uninspired PE. Then there was a sample about how terrible the Jews are and how they should be hung from the trees. We yelled something along the lines of "fuck you this sucks!" and our whole crew split.
Apparently, "Eurocentric" is nouveau PC code for "total fucking assholes." Anyone familiar with these clowns?
Yeah, Germ is full of white power-sympathizers. David E. Williams, the owner, has sent out some pretty dodgy messages online that make me think that he’s not particularly down with the blacks and the Jews. Also, he’s good friends with Bood Samel, aka Oneiric Imperium, which is probably the electronic act in question. Bood hangs out with Keith Carney and a lot of the other Keystone State Skinheads. Also, his music is boring.
I lied. The first Nazi-inspired band was Oneiric Imperium. The second was Genocide Lolita.

Apparently the Philly PD burst in at some point looking for someone from one of the bands, who was, according to that thread, being hidden by people from the bookstore. That’s amusing.
Your hate speech offends me. If you do not like the art, very well then. ..but that hardly calls for bashing it or lumping everyone in the whole city as a part of it.
Besides, people are free to practice their heritage or their politics. Since when is it required that you have to like a certain people to be “normal.” I for one enjoy diversity, and to do so you must appreciate all the nuances and differences that separate us to keep us diverse.
If you want conformity and monoculture, go kill yourself because us humans will never submit to your political hum drudgery.

Thanks for your comment. I realize and respect that the First Amendment protects these forms of expression. Thankfully, it also protects my right to call these (alleged) Nazi symphathizers “total fucking assholes.”
I usually avoid forums, because frankly, you can’t win unless you sit there all day and reply, reply, reply. But here I am and have to be, I guess, because some guy has attacked me with offensive, absurd– well, “insane,” I guess is the word– accusations that have nothing to do with either my store or the events in question.

As for the concert, I’m not going to make excuses like some other promoters who get manipulated into bad booking decisions. This was a big and tangled mistake, I humbly take responsibility and I will personally share the details with anyone who has 20 minutes of their life to waste over a 20 minute performance. And as I said to someone else in the noise scene here, fewer people had a worse time that night than I did. But at least I kind of deserved it.
But our programming has never erred on the side of caution. That’s a strength and a weakness. And I hope I’m not subconsciously deterred in the store’s perpetual longing for those further fringes of truth and experience. You might be surprised what one can find out there. And sometimes you find nothing.
I’m also not going to apologize for the beliefs of the diverse individuals who shop and enjoy our store. We don’t have a specific agenda, so we get all types– the interesting, the erudite and the annoying. We’re not an echo chamber.
I humbly welcome all of this blog’s readers to experience Germ for themselves. We have events that range from psychedelic music to a crafts group to art openings to an open forum UFO discussion group that has been going strong for 4 years and was recently featured on Channel 3 News.

The show was fantastic, if you’d stop acting like a nazi you would see that.
Really the situation was largely my fault. I had Genocide Lolita squeezed into the show at the last minute and without telling the other bands, except Panther Modern who are lying when they say they didn’t know Genocide Lolita was also added to the show.
David is a pretty die hard libertarian with a genuine free speech for all view on things that perhaps I goad a bit much here and there.
As for the other bands, well I don’t care about their hurt feelings. Noise music from the indie scene is not valid, its an appropriation of post-industrial culture which has always been a haven for the completely unacceptable, from sex offenders to racialism and has been sense the late 70s. I snuck Genocide Lolita on to that show because the people offended needed to be.

That is why the cops were at Germ Books looking for him. Not only is Bood (Eric Keiser) a friend of the Keystone State Skinheads (repeatedly stating he is not a member!), but this guy is wanted for BEATING A GIRL AND BREAKING HER ARMS.

I am glad that you at least admit he is wanted. I am not at all surprised that he is wanted by Philadelphia Police for vandalism because he is a vandal and hangs offensive artwork on a regular basis.
However the cops are not so bored that they make a point to chase petty vandals.
FACT: Eric Keiser is wanted along with his mother Sharon Keiser for felony assault. He broke a girl’s arms and put her in the hospital. This can be verified by contacting the police in Ambler, Pa.
This is the reason why his oh-so-fantastic “show” was disrupted. How any of you can support him with this being established is beyond my comprehension. Check for yourself.

On the next screen, change “Search Type” to “Participant Name.” Type in the name of the person you’d like to search under. Change “Docket Type” to “Criminal Court Case.” Click the search button.
If you do this for “Eric Keiser” you get an active case in Ambler, Montgomery County with a list of charges including Agg Assault that are consistent with the claims made here.

Here’s a tip for the sympathizer above: He advertised his show at Germ Books and that’s why the cops showed up. I am sure if his whereabouts were widely known the cops would be just as eager to visit him at his home or workplace.
Apparently there is a $500.00 reward for anyone who successfully puts the creep away. I guess if anyone needs a little money, find him, get him put away, and expose yourself, and you will get a pretty decent check. I know know about anyone else, but I could use the cash.
