Phila.gov gives Mayor Nutter a new face for 2009

Actually, I think this picture my date back to late 2008, but still — in December, Doron Taussig posted a picture of Mayor Nutter, taken from the front page of phila.gov, that made hizzoner look a little ... well, we weren't sure.
I said that Nutter looked "frightened and defensive." Taussig thought that "perplexed and slightly angry" was closer.

Recently, that picture was updated. I'm not implying that The Clog may have influenced the webmasters of City Hall, but they do seem to have taken notice, and replaced the rather ambiguous image with one that is decidedly more confident — if less interesting.
Thank goodness for that!
