6. “Miss You” — The Concretes

The Concretes reappropriate this cover of The Stone’s most famous track as a melancholy, misty piece. (Think Cat Power’s early days.) The song has the disco undercurrents of the original song, which makes you think it’s going to pick up, but it never does … You almost want to dance, but then you just get weepy.
