7. “One Man Guy” — Rufus Wainwright

Speaking of weepy, young Wainwright makes an appearance to mumble through this sonnet about monogamy. The choir chorus on this track is solid, joining Rufus at just the right points and disconnecting voices for random harmonizing that juxtaposes with the song’s lyrics. This is one of my all-time Wainwright favorites.
