7. "On Fire" — Lightning Bolt
Two dudes and about a dozen amplifiers. The vocals come from the drummer, who yelps into a microphone that's taped inside of a ski mask he wears at all times. Yeah, it’s exactly as bizarre as you're imagining. Back in the spring, they came here to open for Dan Deacon at Starlight but some shit went down and they ended up playing after YACHT, at First Unitarian. I think it's one of my most favorite things in the world to watch people flee from a Lightning Bolt show.
