Catch Me If You Can
This film spans many years, following the chase between real-life con artist Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) and detective Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks). Frank always reaches out to the detective on Christmas Eve, and on one of these nights he is finally tracked down and arrested. Frank ends up escaping, and in a heartbreaking scene goes back to his childhood home to find his mother with a new husband and child. Suddenly, cop cars surround him and Frank woefully gives himself up — all while Nat King Cole croons about chestnuts roasting on an open fire.
