REEL TIME: Five of the best non-holiday holiday films

POSTED: Tuesday, December 18, 2012, 11:59 AM

Die Hard

Often thought to be one of the most badass action flicks of all time, this movie probably has about two minutes of Christmas in it. But whatever, it’s set on Christmas Eve, and the only reason John McClane (Bruce Willis) is in L.A. is to attend a Christmas party. If anyone tries to convince you Die Hard isn’t the best Christmas movie ever, just laugh in their face, because they clearly don’t know anything about true action-packed holiday fun.

Honorable Mention: Gremlins
