Poetry U

Back from Spring Break and with finals only a month away, you'd think Temple students wouldn't have time for anything more than a quick break from the library. For the students behind tonight's reading at Musehouse, poetry was an event worth squeezing in to the schedule. The reading, which features Temple students past and present, will demonstrate the wide array of poetic styles offered by young Philly-based poets. There are film majors, English majors, published writers and amateurs, all connected by their common passion for poetry. The night is an opportunity to connect with the local literary community and hear work from voices fresh on the poetic scene.

4 p.m., free, Musehouse Center, 7924 Germantown Ave., musehousecenter.com.
