THAT'S SO GAELIC: Our event picks for St. Patrick's Day

✚ A Brief History of Bar Brawls: Pt. I by James Friel

GDP Productions and 95 Runagates are showcasing the jarring evolution of barroom brawling in A Brief History of Bar Brawls: Pt. 1. Watch Cavemen, Vikings, Christopher T. Marlowe, girls in underwear, and Master Quig himself go at it like rabid Irish hedgehogs. Wash down the violence and crude humor with a pint of beer and laughter.

Sat., March 17, 10 p.m., suggested $10 donation, Quig's Pub, Plays and Players Theater, 1714 Delancey Place, 215-735-0630, playsandplayers.org.
