Friday: Co La is Matthew Papich, a guitar-player-gone-synthetic who has abandoned his years of authentic instrumentation with bands Ponytail and Ecstatic Sunshine for loop-based, kineticly energized power pop. 9 p.m., $5, with Boy Scout of America and Tia & Tamara, Brenda, 1730 N. 5th St.
