No. 7: Who thought it would be a good idea to make a movie about a man who's threatening to leap from a high-rise building? The audience is smart enough to know that if he jumps the movie's going to end. I give it a big ol' "boooo!" right off the bat. And City Paper critic Shaun Brady agrees, saying that Man on a Ledge is "so formulaic that it doesn’t even stick by its own title, yanking [lead actor Sam] Worthington back from the ledge and into a run-of-the-mill running and shooting climax."
