No. 4: Critic Sam Adams can identify definite flaws in Jill and Karen Sprecher’s Thin Ice — it starts on "too-familiar ground," is riddled with "clunky transitions" and seems "dull around the edges." But "the movie ... moves fleetly enough to keep the whole thing from frosting over." Set in an icy Wisconsin, it may be just the respite for those of you pining for a nice winter's snow.
