No. 5:: As cute as the little sewer rat is in the photo above, film critic Shaun Brady says Agnieszka Holland's In Darkness is just another "dingy, gray paean to human struggle." Based on the true story of a heroic, Polish sewer worker who smuggles Jewish refugees into his "subterranean domain," Brady says the film fails in conjuring "a sense of place sufficient to situate the refugees in reference to their pursuers."
