SHOP TALK: Weekend craft fairs abound!

What's that smell? No, it's not one of those stinky cherry blossoms, it's the scent of money burning a hole in our pocket, and we know just where to blow our paychecks this weekend.

SHOP TALK: Weekend craft fairs abound!

Hop on the trolley and get yourself to West Philly. Sure, there’s a spectacle of fresh foliage all around that hood, but the cemetery is where it’s really at. The Go West! Craft Fest is back, only this time the fest is being held at The Woodlands Cemetery. Vix Emporium even put together an adorable checklist so we know exactly what to bring with us. It’s up to you, though, what you take away from the fest. Super cutesy, coveted jewelry and accessories from Bee Vintage Redux? Perhaps a woodblock print of some breastfeeding in action? (Mother’s Day ain’t far off, folks.) We want a Suzanne Francis print of Philadelphia, please.

Sat., April 14, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., free, The Woodlands Historic Mansion and Cemetery, 4000 Woodland Ave., gowestcraftfest.blogspot.com.
