Tuesday: Miami-bred folk singer/guitarist Peter Kasen’s songs aren’t exactly peppy. His broken, low-register voice, which is reminiscent of Nick Drake’s, is a nice vehicle that carries the emotional weight of his dark lyrics and nicely complements his fingerpicking. 9 p.m., $12, The Fire, 412 W.
