Friday: On their latest release, Failure, Unicycle Loves You showcases a pop-art style that is at times dreamy, heavy and a little bit thrash. 8 p.m., $8, The M Room, 15 W. Girard Ave., 215-739-5577. âž¤ Just releasing their latest LP, Should I Try Once More, The Zoltars (pictured) are a moody, stripped-down trio led by Jared Leibowich. The frontman draws Lou Reed comparisons with his detached vocals and straightforward guitar rhythms. 8 p.m., $8, The Level Room, 2102 Market St., 215-564-4202.
