SHOWDOWN: Live music in Philly from May 7-13

POSTED: Monday, May 7, 2012, 1:00 PM

Sunday: Since the formation and soon-after decimation of the Testors back in the '70s, punk-rock frontman Sonny Vincent, who at nearly 60 still tours the country’s small spaces and clubs, maintains his timeless style of violent, kickass punk music so that kids today may be able to lose their minds just like he did. 8 p.m., $8, The Level Room, 2102 Market St., 215-564-4202.
