POSTED: Monday, June 11, 2012, 3:00 PM

Saturday: Philly indie-folk rockers Toy Soldiers just returned from a monthlong national tour, now they’re back and taking the stage along with some special guest performers. By attending the event, you’re helping them fund their upcoming full-length. 8 p.m., $10-$15, World Café Live, 3025 Walnut St., 215-222-1400.

Have a music event you'd like featured in an upcoming Showdown? Email the author at brittany@citypaper.net or tweet her @WannaB_Thomas.
