SIDE-SPLITTER: A dose of comedy at its most weird and surreal

POSTED: Thursday, March 1, 2012, 1:00 PM

Paula Poundstone, one of the top female comedians in the business, is still going strong after more than three decades of standup.  Most recently she’s been a regular panelist on NPR’s Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me and a frequent guest on A Prairie Home Companion, but you may remember her best as the lady comic with the brightly colored suit and tie from the ’90s.

Sat. March 3, 8 p.m., $32.72-$44.02, Golden Nugget, Atlantic City, Brigantine Boulevard and Huron Avenue, 866-746-5336, goldennugget.com.
