SIDE-SPLITTER: Our top four comedy shows of the week

When he isn't rapping or hosting the late night hip-hop show Bat Cave 2.0 on WKDU, Philadelphian Ricky Night likes to get on stage and tell jokes. Ranging from observational nuggets of clever insight to twisted tales from his own life, Night delivers his set with gusto. Baltimore comedienne Ray Diva also performs for the Fast and Furious Friday show hosted by Jemaine Jones.

Fri. April 6, 7:30 p.m., $15, The Black Pearl, 7200 N. Germantown Ave., 267-582-7460, twitter.com/realrickynight.

I went to see We're Matt Weir last night and I am 100% not lying when I say the Mayor Nutter was at the show - laughing. This place is seriously underground and yet majorly awesome.
