THE SHOWDOWN: Live music in Philly from April 2-8

Frankford Ave., 215-739-9684. ➤ The Brooklyn dubstep/dance/hip-hop duo, Break Science, recently released Monolith Code, a hybrid collection of hip-hop beats and vocals, wobbling dubstep bass and laser synths. 9 p.m., $15, The Blockley, 3801 Chestnut St., 215-222-1234.
