Tuesday: Whether he’s sitting at the piano or flailing on the guitar, Brad Oberhofer, leader of the band Oberhofer, hits you over the head with emotional, symphonic, heart-racing indie rock. “Heart,” the first single from Time Capsules II, due out March 27, melodically spills over the edge with guitars, pianos, harps, strings and xylophones. 8 p.m., $12, Johnny Brenda’s, 1201 N.
