Saturday: The main event is still two months away, but a moving sculpture can't be built overnight. As a lead in for the Kinetic Sculpture Derby, folks are getting together for this "How to Build" workshop. Looking at both the design aspect and construction, this afternoon sesh will get you on your way. You're on your own when it comes to the costumes, though.

Sat., March 10, noon, free, Frank's Kitchen, 1581 Randolph St., kinetickensington.org.
