In 2008, the idea that a massive social media presence could translate to in-the-flesh voters was probably met with bemusement. Fast-forward four years and campaign races have totally shifted to the online arena. Political strategist Maria Cardona and tech journo Daniel Sieberg headline the lecture Social Media: The New Political Battlefield. They will take a look at just how much the game has changed.
