TO-DO LIST: Event picks for April 18-24

POSTED: Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 1:00 PM
Filed Under: Events | To-Do List

Given the monster technological advancements that have been made in the last decade, you would think that giving the folks behind the movement a raft of shit would be passe. However, pop culture representations for the most part haven't caught up. To remedy this, LaSalle University and Geekadelphia have teamed up to host, "Is There No Truth in Beauty; Cultural Beauty and Geek Chic", a lecture that aims to get everyone up to speed.

Tue., April 24, 6:30 p.m., Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction, 116 N. Third St., philasciencefestival.org.
