TO-DO LIST: Event picks for May 2-8

Eastern State's Spotlight series kicks off its Searchlight series with "Prison Through the Eyes of the Falsely Convicted." The series itself aims to facilitate a "discussion ... that focuses on crime and contemporary issues." For session one, wrongfully imprisoned Vincent Moto and Marissa Boyers Bluestine, from the Pennsylvania Innocence Project, will be on hand to talk about how this sort of thing could be avoided in the future. This might get a little heavy, so if you're not into it then swing by during the day to check out the sick, recently completed stained glass install.

Mon., May 7, 6 p.m., $5, Eastern State, 2027 Fairmount Ave., 215-236-5111, easternstate.org.
