TO-DO LIST: Daily event picks for May 9-15

Artists who get pegged as "realists" can still deliver inspired, strange works. Consider "Haunting Narratives," the latest exhibit to hit the Woodmere. Among others, local boy  Daniel Heyman (pictured) will be on display. His piece, Nancy: A Hero for Right Now!, is inspired by the infamous Olympic-figure-skating brouhaha in the early ’90s.

Tue., May 15, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., $10, The Woodmere, 9201 Germantown Ave., 215-247-0476, woodmereartmuseum.org.
