TO-DO LIST: Have a Seattle Grunge while you're there

Fresh off a much-lauded run in New York, Israeli photographer Tal Shochat's latest exhibit finally arrives. “In Praise of a Dream” is a stark look at trees when they're at their utmost, and with most pieces clocking in at approximately the size of a man's wingspan, it's enough to make you feel like you're somewhere else entirely.

Tue., Feb. 28, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., $12 National Museum of Jewish History, 101 S. Independence Mall East, 215-923-3811, nmajh.org.
