Details are a little sparse regarding this shindig, but what sort of First Friday would it be if we didn't take a chance or two. Brave New Worlds, head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to comic shops in this town, presents "Hammy Sparkle." In 2010, these cats were responsible for "We Murdered the Avengers," which flirted with something demented, and now they return with an event that promises to include all of the Marvel Universe and Batman, too. Fri., Feb. 3, 7 p.m., Brave New Worlds, 45 N. Second St., bravenewworldscomics.com.
