TO-DO LIST: Step closer to the cliff and revel a bit

LIVING DOCUMENT/NAKED REALITY: If you didn't get your feel of gallery openings at last week's Frist Friday, the Institute of Contemporary Art's winter show opening may be the icing on your cake. In addition to the debut of Jennifer Bolande's "Landmarks," be sure to check out "Living Document/Naked Reality: Towards an Archival Cinema" (pictured), a curious snaphot of film that covers the distance between the 1910s and the 1960s. More than just an attempt at capturing pastiche, the exhibition highlights the work of video artists such as Yto Barrada and Alexandra Navratil. Wed., Jan. 10, 6-8 p.m., Institute of Contemporary Art, 118 S. 36th St., 215-898-7108, icaphila.org.
