TO-DO LIST: There's more than one way to snap a photo

Not to overstate the obvious, but there's more than one way to snap a photo. With that in mind, photog Robert Asman oversees the two-part workshop, Non-Traditional Approaches to Traditional Photography. Culled from his thirty-five years in the industry, Asman will attempt to explain how using chemistry in the darkroom can influence the finished project. In between sessions, he'll also preside over a talk revolving around his career-spanning exhibit, "The Silver Mine."

Fri. March 2, 9 a.m., University of the Arts, 320 S. Broad St., 215-735-6090, printcenter.org.
