TO-DO LIST: Daily event picks for May 30-June 5

Put simply, our cycling situation isn't going to be fixed overnight. Bike lane placement, where to park said bikes and ensuring bikers don't get hit by cars are issues that have to be handled carefully. We're not alone, either. Other cities are wrestling with these problems, too, and tonight thinkers from across town (including Andrew Stober from the Mayor's Office and Alex Doty from the Bicycle Coalition) will get together to talk strategy.

Thu., May 31, 6:30 p.m., free, The Storefront for Urban Innovation, 2816 W. Girard Ave., 267-639-9419,  cyclingphilly.eventbrite.com.
