THE SHOWDOWN: Live music in Philly from Aug. 27-31

POSTED: Monday, August 27, 2012, 12:00 PM
Filed Under: Music The Showdown

Tuesday: Wilkes-Barre's most notorious fuzz-pop ensemble Eww Yaboo will make its first Philly appearance since they last updated their lineup and setlist. If the above band photo doesn't tell you enough about the kind of personality and energy to expect, you can bank on facetious stage antics between far-out, lo-fi harmonies backed by super charged, verbed-out rock 'n' roll. 8 p.m., $5, Kung Fu Necktie, with Early Ape, Time Hitler and the Assholes from Space, 1250 N. Front St., confirm on Facebook.
