Adam Arcuragi in NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series

POSTED: Monday, January 11, 2010, 7:30 PM

CP favorite/former Philadelphian Adam Arcuragi, who I interviewed last year on the eve of the release of his latest, I Am Become Joy ("I joked that it was kinda like the Manhattan Project on happiness," said Arcuragi of the record's title which riffs on a quote from Robert Oppenheimer quoting the Bhagavad Gita), scored a slot in NPR's All Songs Considered Tiny Desk Concerts.

According to Bob Bollen who organized the performance, "When Arcuragi came to play at my desk, most of the folks here at NPR hadn't heard him. After hearing the three songs he played, many walked away amazed. I hope you do, too."

Wait for the player to load to watch above, and listen to this Adam track while you do.
