FINE PRINT: Book bombing, now with zines

The artists behind Book Bombs strike again, this time with zines instead of prints. Keep an eye out in parks around the city for "Book Bombs Zine #1: Rooted Within," a small, handmade booklet created in a similar style to their prints.

Yesterday, artists Mary Tasillo and Michelle Wilson hit Rittenhouse Square, Love Park, Kahn Park, and Washington Square. Tonight you might see them haunting Christ Church Park.

The project culminates on Friday, with bombings around Logan Circle and Palmer Park, followed by the official zine release party at Nexus Gallery in the Crane Art Building at 6 p.m. The zine release party will feature free zines, art by friends of the Book Bomb artists and the chance to meander through galleries featuring work from Southern Graphics Council printmaking conference.
