HAIKU CONTEST: Win Pavement tickets!

POSTED: Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 2:00 PM
Filed Under: Music
It's simple: We have two pairs of Pavement tickets to give away. The show is Friday night at the Mann. In the comments, write a haiku about Pavement, or one that's somehow Pavement-inspired. We'll pick our two favorites at the end of the the day today.

Stephen Malkmus was a poet but he didn't know it:
A recontextualized haiku assembled from lyrics

On the stereo:
boys are dying on these streets,
gold and silver streaks.

(...cause I'm a Pavement geek?)
