Pterodactyl (3237 Amber St., fifth floor, 215-501-7158), that up-and-coming art space in Kensington we told you about a few months ago, just released its schedule of fall courses. They've got classes you'd expect, like "Sewing from a Pattern" and "Introducation to Screen Printing," but we're most excited for the strange-sounding "Mold Making," "Contemporary Conceptions of Bones as Material" and "Introduction to Animal Sculpture" courses. I took a class last semester on screen printing, and both experienced artists and newbs like myself attended ' and everyone seemed to learn a great deal. Classes begin on Mon., Sept. 14, and you can read all the details on additional classes and registration here.
