Run DMC out, Wu Tang in at Roots Picnic

Run-DMC = Out	Ghostface, Raekwon, Method Man = In

A Jam Master Jay-less Run-DMC won't be reuniting at the third annual Roots Picnic this year, Questlove told Billboard. Instead, the Roots will back Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Raekwon, the former Wu-Tang Clan members behind this year's Wu-Massacre.

Quest didn't give a reason for Run-DMC's departure from the bill. While we are upset we won't have any run-ins with rapscallion/best part of Run's House Russy Simmons, as they've told us several time's before, Wu-Tang Clan ain't nothing to fuck with.

The Roots Picnic takes place on June 5 this year at Penn's Landing's Festival Pier. Also on tap are Vampire Weekend, Clipse, The Very Best and oh so many more.

Even though I was anticipating Run-DMC on the bill, I am still gonna come from B-more to see Wu Massacre backed by The Roots!!!!
